transAtlântica is a solo created after eight years living as a portuguese immigrant in Salvador, Bahia. It investigates the relationship with that cultural environment, how it has transformed its own body, identity, and way of being in the world. Instauring an ambiguous mixture of fiction and reality (TV and radio interviews, personal experiences, and interviews with other people), is generated a multivocal perspective of the experience of being foreign (/being "different"). From the lust of the transatlantic body comes up this creation, dedicated to Salvador.
